Ferrotec (USA) Announces Nigel Hunton to be President and Chief Operating Officer

Santa Clara, CA USA — 07-27-2017 — Ferrotec (USA) Corporation, the US subsidiary of Ferrotec Holdings Corp., a global supplier of materials, components and precision system solutions, today announced that Nigel Hunton has joined the company as president and chief operating officer, reporting to Eiji Miyanaga as chief executive officer. Hunton will be responsible for Ferrotec (USA) Corp. business operations, while Miyanaga will focus on global initiatives driven by Ferrotec to enable its customer’s evolving business requirements.

Hunton brings over 30 years of corporate leadership experience to the team. Hunton was previously chairman and CEO of Edwards Limited, the market leading global vacuum technology company, during which time he led the sale of the company from Linde to CCMP Capital in 2007 and then successfully restructured the business. He was responsible for transforming the manufacturing footprint, driving new product innovation, building revenues to $1bn and significantly increasing profitability. More recently, Hunton served as CEO for MBA Polymers, an award-winning cleantech business. Hunton has also served on the board of multiple companies.
