Ohizumi Precision Temperature Thermistors

For Vehicles / Electric Vehicles
Vehicles — 10 to 20 thermistor temperature sensors are used per vehicle mainly for car air conditioners and engine control.
Electric Vehicles — 8 to 10 thermistor temperature sensors are additionally used for measuring the temperature of batteries, motors, and inverters.

Coolant temperature sensor (water temperature sensor)
This sensor is directly mounted on the engine, measures the temperature of the cooling coolant, (water temperature) and prevents the seizure of the engine by controlling the cooling system.

Temperature detection sensor for surface temperature (surface temperature high-precision measuring type)
This sensor monitors the increase of temperature for lithium-ion battery controls fan. This sensor prevents degradation or ignition of the battery caused by sudden temperature changes.

Rechargeable battery temperature sensor
This sensor controls the charging state optimally by monitoring heating temperature at battery charging or discharging.

Temperature detection sensor for surface temperature (standard type)
This sensor plays a role of thermal management associated with heating of a power element such as a DC/DC converter or an inverter.

Sensor for detecting high temperature (Teflon sealing)
Sealed with Teflon that can withstand high temperatures. This sensor mainly prevents seizure due to abnormal heat generation of the motor coil.

Evaporator temperature sensor (fin sensor)
This sensor controls the cooling system by measuring the temperature of the evaporator and prevents frost generation as well. This sensor is directly incorporated in the evaporator fin.

Evaporator temperature sensor (bracket evaporator sensor)
This sensor measures the air temperature to control cooling and prevents frost.

Evaporator temperature sensor (epoxy coat type)
This sensor senses the evaporator temperature and contributes to controlling the air conditioner comfortably and efiiciently.

External temperature sensor Internal temperature sensor
Detect the temperature outside and inside the vehicle to control comfortable and efficient air conditioning.

Fuel temperature sensor
This sensor detects the fuel temperature in the fuel tank and is used to meet text: environmental regulations.

ATF temperature sensor
This sensor detects the temperature of ATF to reduce gear shift shock or promote low fuel consumption.

Radiator temperature sensor
This sensor detects the radiator temperature and controls the operation of the cooling fan.
For Air Conditioning / Home Electrical Appliances
4 to 10 thermistor temperature sensors are used for air conditioners, and 3 to 5 for refrigerators.

NSS Thermistors
This thermistor can be used at high precision (resistance value tolerance ± 1 % , B constant tolerance ± 1 %). This thermistor can be used at high temperatures (serviceable temperature range: -40° C to+ 150° C). This thermistor is excellent in weather resistance because a glass coat is used on four sides.
